Important Notes

The study abroad program aims to offer HKUST students an opportunity to gain valuable experience in different places. Students should treasure the resources that HKUST and SHSS provide. Students should also take the financial capability and time commitment into consideration upon the application submission.

It is unnecessary to fill up all choices for the application and therefore students are strongly encouraged to submit the choices that they are interested in only. The School will issue offers based on your selected choices in the application.

Once the offer is confirmed, students should be responsible for their decisions. Please note that students would be blacklisted in future exchange applications (for both school- and university-level) and SHSS internship applications for those who decline the offer or withdraw the program whenever the offer is confirmed.
