About The University of New South Wales
UNSW Australia is one of the country's leading research and teaching universities. Established in 1949, it is ranked among the top 50 universities in the world, renowned for the quality of its graduates and its world class research.
UNSW is a founding member of the Group of Eight, a coalition of Australia's leading research-intensive universities, and of the prestigious international network Universitas 21. With more than 50,000 students from over 120 countries, it is one of Australia’s most cosmopolitan universities.
The main UNSW campus is located on a 38-hectare site at Kensington, seven kilometres from the centre of Sydney. Other major campuses are the Art & Design campus in the Sydney suburb of Paddington and UNSW Canberra at the Australia Defence Force Academy.
In addition to UNSW Canberra at ADFA, UNSW has eight Faculties - Art & Design; Arts & Social Sciences; Built Environment; Business School; Engineering; Law; Medicine; and Science – which offer an extensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs.
Click here to view the instructions on how to search for fully online courses offered by UNSW in term 3. You should only choose courses that are delivered in "fully online" mode. Courses offered in "blended in-person/online" mode are NOT open to virtual study abroad students. Please pay attention to course restrictions for virtual study abroad students. Classes will be held from 9 September 2021 to 11 December 2021. Students can take 1-2 virtual courses from the program.
Please consider timezone differences before applying. Some classes are real-time online and interactive sessions. Students are required to attend class punctually according to the class schedule. Instructors will mark attendance and punctuality. You are also expected to engage actively in online classes. Please commit to giving your full attention during the scheduled class, and be a good representative of HKUST.
The final course schedule will be released by the host institution on 2 July 2021. It is possible for the course offerings to be changed or have time conflicts with the virtual courses you are applying and/or your courses at HKUST. Please make sure that you are flexible enough to change your study plan if needed.
QuotaTen (10) quota for HKUST undergraduate students who met the eligibility requirements.
When you enroll in these courses nominated by HKUST, you are not required to pay tuition fee to the partner institution. You continue to be a registered HKUST student. If a course has additional fees required for items such as textbooks, these will be detailed in the course outline from the partner.
