About UBC Vancouver Summer Program
The UBC Vancouver Summer Program (VSP) is a four week academic program offered at the University of British Columbia, Canada for cohorts of international students to study at UBC. The Vancouver Summer Program consists of two courses in each package. Each course is approximately 39 hours of class time. Classes are interactive and often include group work and discussions.

- You are expected to arrive on the date the program starts for student dormitory check-in. Please refer to the host institution’s acceptance package for the arrival information.
- You should only depart after completion of the program.
This is a fee-paying program and HKUST students will pay a program fee of CAD5,100, which includes the items below, and bear the costs for travel, visa, personal expenses and other administrative fees.

- Shared accommodation on UBC campus
- Orientation and farewell events
- Course materials
- Social activities
You are eligible to apply for the program if you:
- will have completed Year 1 by the start of program; and
- have a cumulative CGA of 2.0 or above (Students with CGA below 2.0 may also apply. Offers may be given with special consideration.).

HKUST students must apply through the Global Student Programs Office. Individual direct application to UBC will not be accepted.

Step 2: The Host Institution Application (TO BE COMPLETED AFTER YOU ARE NOMINATED BY HKUST)
If you are nominated, you will be notified to submit a formal host institution application. Detailed information and application instructions can be provided in due course.
