About Singapore Management University

About SMU Global Summer Programme
It is a 4-week intensive programme focusing on Business, Innovation and Society in Asia, offering a suite of elective and enrichment courses designed to augment students’ knowledge and practical skills about Asia in general, through the use of real-life case studies and examples. Students will take 2 courses during the 4-week programme.
There are eye-opening company & site visits that allow students to experientially obtain first-hand knowledge about how businesses are run in Singapore; and opportunities to network with respected CEOs & industry experts from various fields. Students may also sign up for many weekend activities, from city tours to beer brewery visits and food trails.

HKUST students must apply through the Global Student Programs Office. Individual direct application to the program will not be accepted.

Step 1: Complete HKUST application form and submit supplementary documents (CLICK HERE for details)
Step 2: The Host Institution Application (TO BE COMPLETED AFTER YOU ARE NOMINATED BY HKUST)
If you are nominated, you will be notified to submit a formal host institution application. Detailed information and application instructions will be provided in due course.

Students are required to purchase mandatory medical insurance that covers the entire period of study. Details can be found HERE.
